An article by Lisa Bortolotti and Kathleen Murphy-Hollies (doctoral student working on confabulation and virtue ethics) has recently appeared in IAI News, an online magazine of ideas. They apply their own research on optimism bias and confabulation to reactions to the global pandemic, by whole governments and individual citizens.
