Francis Davis is working with the charity Catholic Voices and colleagues at Oxford to undertake an exploratory study into the current size , scope and impact of Catholic social care and advocacy in England, wales and Scotland - under normal circumstances and under lockdown.

'The Catholic community in the UK is , in general, under researched and when it comes to its social apostolates and action can be both underestimated or over-imagined. This exploratory study seeks to update key information in this regard beginning to better inform our understanding and the potential for planning going forward'.

The survey is aimed at parish, Caritas, Religious Order and Cathedral organised responses as well as those from independent Catholic charities. It invites responses and the survey which can be accessed here should be returned by 9th September 2020.
