This course is delivered by the Shakespeare Institute and features lecture content from leading scholars in Shakespeare Studies. Drawing on the University of Birmingham’s collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Spring into Shakespeare will also explore the playwright’s works from the perspective of a professional actor.
Starting on Tuesday 28 March, the course takes just six weeks to complete, with eight hours per week of learning required. Completing this course may be used as an alternative qualification to those listed as entry requirements for the Shakespeare Institute MA programmes.
The Shakespeare Institute, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, has been a beacon for international Shakespeare scholarship since its foundation in 1951. It plays host to the most prestigious international Shakespeare conference in the world, as well as to the biggest postgraduate conference in Shakespeare studies.
