The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) grants professional accreditation to Birmingham Business School’s postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management.

The University of Birmingham Dubai campus has been granted the Approved Programme Provider status and professional accreditation for its industry-recognised MSc Human Resource Management degree by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR practitioners responsible for leading and supporting the people profession globally. This accreditation solidifies the University’s commitment to delivering world-class education in human resource management, empowering future leaders of the workforce.

Upon successful completion of the qualification, students enrolled in the programme will be eligible for CIPD membership, allowing them to proudly showcase the distinguished CIPD 'designatory letters' after their names. The MSc Human Resource Management degree is equivalent to a CIPD Level 7 (Advanced) qualification in Human Resources. Additionally, depending on their work experience, graduates may be eligible to upgrade their student membership to Chartered status—a globally-recognised achievement for HR and L&D professionals. All accredited programmes align with the CIPD Profession Map, the internationally recognised standard for the people profession.
