Students took part in the programme’s second International Business week in April 2025.
During International Business Week, students visited One-North, a research and development hub where many Singaporean start-ups are located, such as StraitsX. While visiting the StraitsX office, the students were able to hear about the challenges of setting up a new business, navigating regulatory issues and becoming an entrepreneur first-hand. They were also able to hear about the support available for individuals looking to start their own businesses by visiting Action Community for Entrepreneurship, who also support new ventures in their early internationalisation activities.
Walking through One-North, often referred to as Singapore's Silicon Valley, was truly an experience. Surrounded by modern buildings and buzzing with energy, it felt like stepping into the future of entrepreneurship and innovation. The area is thoughtfully designed, not only as a workspace but also as an ecosystem that nurtures creativity and tech-driven ideas.
