Professor Tim Albrecht awarded Guest Professorship by Nanjing University

The appointment was formalised at the 23rd Conference on International Exchange of Professionals in Shanghai on 20 October.

Professor Tim Albrecht, Professor of Physical Chemistry and Director of Global Engagement in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Birmingham, has been awarded a Guest Professorship by Nanjing University.

The prestigious appointment is for three years initially and aims to foster scientific collaboration and build upon our existing research partnerships with Nanjing.

Of the appointment, Professor Albrecht said:

"I was honoured to accept this appointment from my colleagues at Nanjing University, especially in such illustrious company with my fellow appointees. I am looking forward to our continued collaboration and exploring further opportunities for our universities in and beyond my own field of interest in Chemical Sciences."
