This year’s theme, Contemporary Risks to Household Financial Security, reflects the growing importance of our work in both local and global contexts. Household finances continue to come under mounting pressure from wage stagnation, rising interest rates, geopolitical instability, and the persistently high cost of living.

Our research offers new insights into the experiences of households facing precarious work, insecurity in the private rental sector, and the costs of caring, as well as inequalities in housing and pension wealth.
