CHASM is delighted to welcome Becky Driscoll as a new Research Fellow.
Becky’s research explores how unpaid carers and disabled people navigate the welfare benefits system, including the important role of welfare rights services. She is also interested in the financial wellbeing of kinship families and works closely with people with lived experience, practitioners and policy-makers.
With more than a decade of experience across the voluntary sector, NHS and local government, Becky is committed to producing research that improves policy and practice and strengthens the financial security and wellbeing of people facing disadvantage.
We are also pleased to welcome Zee Howelko from Canadian Mennonite University, who will be assisting with our work on the Financial Inclusion Monitor until December 2026. Zee is a final year accounting major who has previously worked with former CHASM International Visiting Fellow Dr Jerry Buckland, on research into financial literacy and capability in Canada.
