About the Business Fair
The Business Fair is a careers fair exclusive to University of Birmingham undergraduate, international and postgraduate students and recent graduates. The fair provides an opportunity for employers specifically recruiting for Professional Service opportunities for 2025, such as HR, Accountancy, Logistics, Tax, Finance, Operations, Auditing, Asset Management, Consulting, Investment, Business Support, Market Research, and others.
Recruiters can access our large, diverse student community by meeting them in person, in our prestigious Great Hall on our Edgbaston Campus.
The fair provides an opportunity for our students and graduates to learn about different career opportunities and network with potential employers to explore graduate and work experience opportunities.
Date and location
The fair will be held on Wednesday 23 October 2024, in the Great Hall at University of Birmingham.
Student attendance
The Business Fair primarily attracts students from Birmingham Business School and College of Social Sciences. However, we encourage all University of Birmingham students, home and international, postgraduates and recent graduates to attend the fair. This includes students and recent graduates of all colleges, from all year groups and at all stages of their career journey.
University of Birmingham Career Registration data 2022/23 shows students from the across all five colleges, including the college of Social Sciences and the Business School have a strong interest in pursuing careers in the following sectors: Accounting and Financial Management, Advertising PR and Marketing, Government and Public Sector and Management Consultancy.
