Module Overview

This module builds on the previous module Statistics for Health Economics I, by covering more the breadth of research approaches required by health economists.  Students will develop critical understanding of published research in health care related areas and be able to generate and interpret quantitative and qualitative research data.

Statistical subjects covered will include: bivariate and multivariate regression analysis, Bayesian interpretation of probability and Bayesian updating.

The course will also cover research methods and study design for health economics, survey, qualitative and mixed methods.
