We are pleased to announce that the launch and first meeting of the Leverhulme Trust-funded Caribbean In/Securities: Creativity and Negotiation in the Caribbean (CARISCC) international research network took place on 24-25 May, 2016 at the University of Birmingham, UK. The event brought together scholars from Jamaica, UK, Canada and the Netherlands, and topics discussed included historical, current and future research directions in the field of Caribbean in/securities.
