Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU)

The Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU) translates cutting edge science into improved patient care, both rapidly and safely, through the design and conduct of large multi-centre/international randomised trials as well as smaller more data intensive phase I trials of novel therapies.

Current trials

We are one of the largest cancer trials units in the UK and have been in existence for more than 30 years.

Trial Management

We have 6 trial management teams specialising in: adult cancer early drug development; early and late (randomised) phase cancer paediatric trials; early phase haemato-oncology trials; adult cancer late phase trials; and early phase non-cancer trials.

New Business and Services

The CRCTU collaborates with a large number of Investigators both at a national and international level
