The next lecture in the BCRRE Prestige Lecture Series will be delivered by Tom Butcher, Met Office

Tom is the Head of Scientific Consultancy at the Met Office. Through 16 years' experience at the Met Office, World Meteorological Organisation and Australian Bureau of Meteorology, Tom has built up a strong understanding of the science of weather and climate change and their impacts on industry and governments.

Tom has worked with a wide range of customers, both in the UK, Australia and in other countries, to understand their needs and to develop services that help them to utilise weather and climate information to improve safety and increase the efficiency of operations.

Teas, coffees and biscuits will be provided from 17:30, followed by the lecture at 18:00.
