Our integrated approach empowers us to advance our understanding of the molecular basis of cancer, while also designing the next generation of cancer treatments and better surgical protocols to improve patient outcomes.
Core Research Areas
Genome Structure and Regulation
Our basic research covers cancer cell and stem cell biology, viral oncology (EBV and HPV) and genome biology.
DNA Replication, Stability and Repair
Our research is defining the normal mechanisms of DNA replication and repair, in order to understand how it is deregulated in cancer cells.
Translational Biology and Genetics
We investigate the mechanisms by which cancer mutations deregulate the normal processes of cellular function and growth.
Bioinformatics and Health Data Science
We are an interdisciplinary team of scientists passionate about the medical applications of bioinformatics and health data science.
