Birmingham Fellow

To create and disseminate knowledge through initiating and conducting original, high-quality research, through publication, through supervision of doctoral researchers, and through delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate and/or CPD programmes, as appropriate to the disciplinary area. Apply here.

Undergraduate courses

Cardiovascular science is a major component of education programmes across the College of Medical and Dental Sciences. Members of the Institute contribute to research-led teaching by delivering lectures, tutorials and laboratory classes, and supervising research projects for students studying medicine, dentistry, medical sciences and pharmacology.

Our postgraduate courses

Biomedical Research: Cardiovascular Sciences MRes

Providing you with an in-depth knowledge of the field and allowing you to gain practical experience working as part of leading research groups in the Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences you will investigate molecular, physiological and pathological processes underlying cardiovascular homeostasis in health and disease.
