Research Fellow in Cardiac Cellular Physiology - Closing date 30 October 2019
The post holder will be responsible for collection of research data using a variety of electrophysiological, molecular, imaging and in vivo physiology techniques, as well as undertaking data analysis and dissemination alongside research administration duties. The overarching aim of the work is to characterise the molecular mechanisms mediating atrial arrhythmias and to identify novel therapies for treating atrial arrhythmia. Apply here.
Cardiovascular science is a major component of education programmes across the College of Medical and Dental Sciences. Members of the Institute contribute to research-led teaching by delivering lectures, tutorials and laboratory classes, and supervising research projects for students studying medicine, dentistry, medical sciences and pharmacology.

Biomedical Research: Cardiovascular Sciences MRes
Providing you with an in-depth knowledge of the field and allowing you to gain practical experience working as part of leading research groups in the Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences you will investigate molecular, physiological and pathological processes underlying cardiovascular homeostasis in health and disease.
