Interdisciplinary Research Network for Confronting Antimicrobial Resistance

iCARE is a diverse group of scholars from a range of disciplines working together to explore ways to address the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance. We believe interdisciplinary research is key for the development of creative interventions which consider the biological, legal, ethical, social and political complexities of antimicrobials and their usage. Our vision is not only to excel within the traditional disciplinary boundaries of AMR research, but build an integrative programme of research defined by deliberation and collaboration across disciplines.

iCARE is hosted by the Health Services Management Centre, in the College of Social Sciences.
