Native ambient mass spectrometry
Native ambient mass spectrometry (NAMS) combines native mass spectrometry, top-down mass spectrometry and ambient mass spectrometry to enable simultaneous analysis of protein structure and spatial distribution.
NAMS is a novel tool which allows detection, identification and imaging of intact proteins in their native state directly from their physiological environment, i.e., from tissue, with applications in molecular pathology and drug discovery.
