The commercialisation of energy technologies, products, and services is vital for the success of our Government’s commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Yet many businesses do not have access to the support services needed to research, test and grow their innovations.

Whilst we are aware that HSBC currently finances a number of industries that significantly contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, we know they have a strategy in place to help their customers reduce their emissions and to reduce their own.
Applications Now Open for Climate Innovation Platform (CIP) Cohort 5
Commencing January 2026
Following the success of recent cohorts, we are delighted to announce that applications are now open for Cohort 5 of the Climate Innovation Platform (CIP), supported by HSBC UK.
This hybrid programme welcomes applications from UK-registered SMEs*. While most of the programme is delivered online, there are a small number of in-person workshops that will be hosted in Birmingham, so businesses from across the UK are encouraged to apply.
