The Human Biomaterials Resource Centre (HBRC) approaches healthy volunteers and NHS patients for samples and data to be used in scientific research. The HBRC is licensed by the UK Human Tissue Authority, and it operates a generic protocol that has been approved by a Healthcare Research Authority Research Ethics Committee.
