Clinical Exercise Classes at MoveWell

MoveWell offers supervised aerobic and resistance training exercise classes for individuals at risk of or living with a long-term health condition.

If you would like to improve your general health by following a Personalised Exercise Program (PEP) put together for you by one of our highly skilled and experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologists (CEP), these classes may be ideal for you.

Initially, you will undergo a comprehensive, 2 stage health assessment with a CEP where you will discuss your medical history and your personal goals. During this assessment, we will conduct a series of physical and psychological checks and measures relating to health and exercise. This information will be used to develop your personalised exercise programme which will be underpinned by the latest evidence-based research and will be based on your needs, goals and fitness levels.

All exercise sessions will be fully supervised by CEP’s who will always be on hand to instruct, support and advise you so that so you get the most out of your exercise programme and achieve your personal goals.

On completion of your 8-week programme, you will undergo a follow-up health assessment with a CEP to measure improvements and discuss strategies to ensure long-term adoption to an active lifestyle.
