Research in African Studies and Anthropology
DASA has evolved over the decades to become a leading centre of anthropological research on themes including oral histories, gender relations, economic life, migration, religion, activism, urban livelihoods and popular culture. We do retain a particular strength in the study of the African continent, and have strong links with Africa-based scholars and institutions.
