Renewal of Two Honorary Research Fellows for CHASM

Dr Edward Brunsdon and Dr Margaret May have been re-appointed as Honorary Research Fellows in the University of Birmingham’s School of Social Policy and the Centre for Household Assets and Savings Management (CHASM).

Their joint research focuses on the development and role of occupational welfare in the UK, taxation and social policy, financial capability and financial well-being.  They are active members of the Social Policy Association (SPA) and Dr May has been nominated as a member of the Social Policy Award Scheme Judging Panel for 2019-21.

Over the next two years they will continue to contribute to the work of both the School of Social Policy and CHASM, furthering their research and contributing to conferences and publications on work-based welfare, financial transfers, taxation and social policy.
