Research published by the BBC reveals an ethnic pay gap in universities with Russell Group universities showing the greatest gap.
Professor Kalwant Bhopal was interviewed by the BBC News at One and BBC World News on 7th December 2018. She also appeared on BBC Breakfast and BBC Radio PM. She discussed how women of colour were doubly disadvantaged both by their gender and in turn their race. She also linked this to the perpetuation of institutional racism and white privilege.
