Report on Sixth British Patristics Conference
A report has been published on the Sixth British Patristics Conference held in Birmingham in conjunction with the COMPAUL project in September 2016.
The report appears in the Bollettino di studi latini 47.1 (pp. 278–9), covering the first half of the year 2017. It is written in Italian by Lavinia Cerioni, who was present at the conference, and gives details of the individual papers as well as the overall aims of the conference.
The report notes how, although the British Patristics conference was set up as an occasion for exchange between scholars based in the UK, it has now developed a more international and interdisciplinary profle and represents one of the most important gatherings in the Anglophone world for the study of ancient Christianity.
Photographs of the conference have already been published on an ITSEE news page.
