Modern British Studies @ Birmingham is committed to exploring new ways of thinking about the history of Britain from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. As part of this process we will publish a series of regular collaborative working papers that address different aspects of the period. Although they will engage particular historical questions we hope that they will be accessible to anyone interested in the field.
We hope that these working papers will be taken as a starting point for further discussion: feel free to comment or critique using our blog.
