Dr Christine Doucette, Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba, is an active member of the “DREAM” (Diabetes Research Envisioned and Accomplished in Manitoba) theme and runs a productive biomedical research program focussed on determining the metabolic and molecular players that control beta cell function and how they fail in type 2 diabetes (T2D), with a particular focus on youth-onset T2D.
