Our Key Objectives

  • To increase the global health research portfolio across the College through successful grants
  • To increase awareness of Global Health Research opportunities
  • To better prepare for applications to Global Health Research funding opportunities
  • To involve academics with a current Global Health portfolio
  • To encourage and enable those with a UK track record to become involved with Global Health Research
  • To foster an environment of cross-Institute collaboration
  • To facilitate cross-College collaborations and involvement in the new Institute of Global Innovation
  • How we engage with our network

Our activities include quarterly networking lunches, seminars, specific workshops, forum for project managers, internal and external speakers, “pitches to peers”, peer mentoring, engagement through mailing list and reach to other colleges, and advice about grant development and set-up.

We aim to work closely with other Departments and Colleges across the University engaged in international work.
