Following our successful week at InnoTrans, Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) are delighted to announce that we will be at be at Rail Vehicles & Enhancements (RVE) in Derby on Thursday 4 October.
‘Hydrogen Hero’, the U.K’s first scaled-down fully operating hydrogen train will be showcased at the event, giving guests the opportunity to see the train in action and speak to the researchers about the technology. In addition, BCRRE will have a stand located next to Porterbrook where we will discuss the new Hydroflex partnership and our plans to up-scale Hydrogen Hero into a full-scale model which will be ready for demonstration runs in summer 2019.
Our Director, Alex Burrows will also be speaking at 11:20 at RVE as part of the conference on ‘World-leading R&D capability – the value of great ideas’.
