In March earlier this year, the University of Birmingham launched a Centre for Trauma Sciences Research in order to advance the development of new technologies and clinical treatments for trauma patients.
The Scar Free Foundation Centre for Conflict Wound Research based at the University of Birmingham, will bring together scientists and clinicians to investigate how the body heals and protects itself following trauma.
