At Birmingham, we bring together the study of Greece, Rome and Egypt. Our staff offer a wide range of expertise in the history, culture, archaeology and languages of the ancient world.
We're also home to the Centre for Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies – the only research centre in the UK which brings all of these subjects together in a single unit.
You'll join a stimulating and supportive research environment. We encourage our students to enhance their learning by attending events, research seminars and conferences.
