Do you still have philosophical questions to be answered or arguments to be resolved? The Department of Philosophy offers a range of postgraduate courses, including MA, MSc, MRes and PhD programmes, for you to continue pursuing your passion for the subject.
Our academic staff are experts in all core areas of contemporary philosophy, as well as several speciality and interdisciplinary fields. With our wide range of philosophical expertise, we provide first-rate teaching and supervision in a variety of subjects including global ethics; philosophy of mind and cognitive science; philosophy of logic, language and mathematics; moral philosophy; and philosophy of religion.
You will be part of a lively, friendly and supportive community. Our postgraduate students are integral to and play a very active role in the life of the Department, organising and contributing to activities such as our various research seminars, regular workshops and conferences, and popular reading groups.
