Professor Dominique Schneider who is an expert on bacterial evolution from the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble will be visiting us for a few days early in March, funded by the Erasmus Exchange programme. He will be lecturing to our students as well as planning research projects with IMI staff.

Professor Dominique Schneider

Professor Schneider is interested in the ecological and molecular mechanisms underlying the dynamics of bacterial evolutionary processes and the evolution of phenotypic traits, including adaptation to various environments, virulence, and antibiotic resistance.
