We are delighted that all of our undergraduate degree courses enjoy Royal Society of Biology - Accredited Degree status. The annual Degree Accreditation Awards Ceremony for the Royal Society of Biology takes place this evening (14 April 2016) in the Houses of Parliament, Westminster and celebrates biosciences degree programmes that have been awarded Accredited or Advanced Accreditation status over the last year.

Accredited degree programmes are judged by an independent and rigorous assessment to contain a solid academic foundation in biological knowledge and key skills, and prepare graduates to address the needs of employers. The accreditation criteria require evidence that graduates from accredited programmes meet defined sets of learning outcomes, including subject knowledge, technical ability and transferable skills.
