The annual Biosciences Graduate Research School symposium will take place on 19 April 2018.
The Key Note talk this year will be delivered by David Gregory Kumar a scientific journalist for the BBC.
The symposium is a chance for students and staff within the University of Birmingham to see what research is currently being undertaken in the School of Biosciences. Third year Biosciences students will give talks and second year students present posters covering all four of the School's research themes:
- Biosystems and Environmental Change
- Microbiology and Infection
- Molecules, Cell Signalling and Health
- Plant Science
For our students it's a day to not only see the array of research being undertaken but to also network with people they may not necessarily come across during their day to day studies.
