With 38 delegates from all over the world, this annual conference had a well-attended conference with a range of intellectually stimulating topic on Finance where most assumptions were challenged and debated.

Between 7-9th August 2019 we saw a range of different innovative research approaches to investigating Finance in all its aspects. We had 5 key note speakers invited, Janette Rutterford, Open University Skip McGoun, Bucknell University US, Christopher Robinson, York University Canada, and from Birmingham Business School Jan Bebbington and Ian Thomson.  The agenda included 1 film and 22 papers that initiated many stimulating debates and intellectual challenges. A true inspiration.

Additionally to the BBS CFS and Birmingham experience, we invited the delegates to the Balti Triangle food experience, which was highly appreciated.

We want to give a big thank you to the organising committee (John Morris, Warwick Business School and from Birmingham Business School Ian Thomson, Keith Hoskin, Andy Mullineux, Ann-Christine Frandsen) but especially a big thank you to Jean-Charles Buttolo and Roshni Sahota who worked behind the scenes and made the conference a highly smoothly run event!! Below you find a sample of what some of the keynote speakers’ presentations.
