We are delighted that Professor Anne Green has joined the University of Birmingham’s City-REDI (the City-Region Economic Development Institute) and the Birmingham Business School from the University of Warwick’s Institute for Employment Research.
Anne is a specialist on skills, employment and local and regional labour markets with many years’ experience working with local and national government agencies and foundations in related policy areas, as well as internationally with the OECD. Her current research, on inclusive growth, labour migration and local skills strategies supports government policies on productivity, regional skills and employment.
Anne’s arrival completes the group of 4 professors leading City-REDI, including Simon Collinson, John Bryson and Raquel Ortega-Argilés. The Institute is working with Business Development Director, Rebecca Riley and the team of research fellows and data analysts to support the regional growth agenda and the national industrial strategy.
