Rose Whyman was invited to give a guest lecture presenting her book The Stanislavski System of Acting; Legacy and Influence in Modern Performance (2008) at the National Theater Academy of Oslo, part of the National Academy of the Arts, KHiO at a symposium on actor-training. The symposium took place from 13-14 and other speakers and workshop leaders included Dr Sharon Marie Carnicke Stanislavski in Focus (2010), Dr Gabriele Sofia from the University of Paris 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis, Ivan Midderigh from the Roy Hart Theatre, Martin Landzettel Director of the Lichtenberg Institut of Applied Physiology of the voice in Germany, and Ole Rasmus Møller from the Complete Vocal Institute
