Joseph Wallace, Birmingham Fellow in the Department of English, has won the James Holly Hanford Award for a distinguished article on Milton, given by the Milton Society of America.
His winning article is “Miltonic Proportions: Divine Distribution and the Nature of the Lot in Paradise Lost” Milton Studies 53 (2012): 101-23.
