The excellent Our Shakespeare exhibition opened on the 22 April at the Library of Birmingham.
The Shakespeare Institute supported it, as did Dr Kate Rumbold. Institute PhD student, Richard O’Brien did crucial work in the archives. Professor Ewan Fernie was Academic Advisor. He says,’ The Library of Birmingham’s ‘Our Shakespeare’ Exhibition is a bit of an historic event. In partnership with the British Library, it opens up a world-significant collection of rare and often unique Shakespeare-related holdings, and one which, wonderfully enough, was established for and belongs to the people of Birmingham. It’s a revelation, don’t miss it!’
