Postgraduate study Back to 'School of English, Drama and American & Canadian Studies' Our postgraduate community comes from all over the world, with students studying towards Masters (MA) or Doctoral (PhD) level degrees. Postgraduate programmes are offered in all our subject areas: American and Canadian Studies, Drama, English Language and Applied Linguistics, English Literature, Film and Creative Writing and The Shakespeare Institute.
