Athena SWAN - Mechanical Engineering
Two Departments within the School of Engineering – Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering – have previously been awarded Bronze Athena Swan awards in recognition of their work to progress gender equality.
Since the changes to the School and the formation of the School of Engineering, these awards are no longer viable.
The School of Engineering is now in the process of submitting its own bid for a Bronze award which will encompass the activities of the three constituent Departments.
