The School of History and Cultures is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an outstanding early career researcher to join the school’s vibrant research community on a two year research fellowship, starting in September 2018.

This is an exciting and innovative position well suited to an emerging scholar with an interest in school outreach work and widening participation. Unlike a traditional postdoc the successful candidate will not just be required in addition to concentrating on the development of their own research. The person appointed to the position will spend the equivalent of a day a week on projects to enhance the work that the School of History and Cultures does to reach out and enthuse school aged children about the potential of the humanities to illuminate the workings of human society past and present.
