International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) was launched in March 2006 to help lawyers from Africa develop the specialist skills required to practise international law. ILFA’s mission is to provide training in key legal skills, international law and organise provide work experience for lawyers from across the continent of Africa.
The lawyers visited the school for the day and were given a tour of the campus, a lecture on EU Law and an overview of the Taught LLM programmes on offer at Birmingham Law School. The day was hosted by the director of the Taught LLM programmes.
