The international conference, ‘Mary of Burgundy: The Reign, the ‘Persona’, and the Legacy of a European Princess’ co-organised by Dr Elizabeth L’Estrange with colleagues from the Universities of Liège, Ghent, and Brussels will take place in the Birmingham University Brussels Offices and the Groeninge Museum in Bruges from 4-7 March. The conference opens with an inaugural lecture by Professor Wim Blockmans (Leiden) and includes a manuscripts workshop at the Royal Library and visits to monuments in Bruges.
