Dr Louise Hardwick has just returned from presenting at the 20th and 21st Century French and Francophone Studies Colloquium held in New York City.
The colloquium was jointly hosted by three Universities: New York University, City University New York and Columbia, in the heart of New York City. It was an exciting opportunity for Louise to receive feedback on her latest research, on which some of her current Year 4 teaching is based, from world-leading experts. She presented her project alongside colleagues from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Uppsala University in Sweden, and New York University.
The visit was made possible through internal funding jointly awarded by the University of Birmingham North America Travel Fund and the College of Arts and Law.
