Dr Shelley Godsland and Dr Elena Losada Soler of the University of Barcelona (both shown in the photo) form part of an international research group that was recently awarded prestigious funding by the Spanish government.
Their project examines the portrayal and re-writing of gender stereotypes in the Spanish detective novel since the end of the dictatorship.
