Dr Jeremy Morris acted as a panel chair and discussant at the international conference ‘Informal Practices and Structures in Eastern Europe and Central Asia’, 21 - 23 November 2013, University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
This event brought together more than 75 paper-givers and featured two lively keynotes from Alena Ledeneva and Lilia Shevstova on ‘Mapping the Borders of Informality: Social Networks – Economies of Favours - Corrupt Practices’, and ‘Personal Power in Russia: The Logic of Surge and Decline’ respectively.
