Birmingham International Piano Festival

This weekend (6-8 March), some of the world’s finest pianists come to the University of Birmingham.

Over three days, they will showcase the piano, not only as a solo instrument but also for its role in chamber music and jazz, as part of the inaugural Birmingham International Piano Festival. The festival will feature Joseph Tong and Waka Hasegawa, the Cropper Welsh Roscoe Trio, Franscesco Piemontesti, the Back to Basie Orchestra  (with their award winning singer Jacqui Hicks), and Nikolai Demidenko with the European Union Chamber Orchestra.
