236 year 7 students from local schools have signed up to join the University Music Society Philharmonic Orchestra for an Outreach Masterclass on 29th November in the Elgar Concert Hall.
Students from local schools will enjoy music from the BBC Ten Pieces project and engage in learning with the help of students from the orchestra, and Director of Orchestra Studies, Daniele Rosina. The session is the first time that University Music has participated in the University Masterclass series – following a success visit from year 7 pupils from the University School for BBC Music Day in June.
