Two concerts from this year's CrossCurrents festival will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3's Hear and Now on Saturday 7 April 2018, including two broadcast premieres from University composers, Michael Zev Gordon and Ryan Latimer, and the launch of LOKI ensemble, conducted by University of Birmingham conductor, Daniele Rosina, together with Feeney Trust supported CrossCurrents commission by Richard Ayres; and the Ligeti String Quartet, performing works by Zorn, Schnittke and Tanya Tagaq.
